so we cleaned out the loft today. and some of the closet. it is one of my major projects that needs to be done and it’s going to take a long time. the good thing is that we found a bunch of things that Bryon gave us permission to sell and with the money we’re hoping to get a new camera and a jib. it’s gunna be amazing. if we can get them before camp, it’ll be amazing. the professionalism jumps up like 300%. good times.

today, Bryon helped me go through my sermon and fix a lot of things that i had either messed up or just hadn’t really dealt with at all. i’m SO glad he did. there is a lot that i really needed to work on and i either knew it or he opened my eyes to it but it was still all very good. like i’ve said before, it’s a growing process. and it’s a rough one. no one likes to be told their wrong. especially me. i can be very thick skulled. but it was all really, really good to hear. becoming a good pastor and a good preacher take time and practice and serious effort. you never see that in the beginning. at least, i never did. but this summer is all about opening eyes. i just pray that mine will continue to be opened and not be hindered by anything.
