awesome.

today was my little chance to chill before another insane-o week starts up at kingsway church. i have to fix the sign, write a sermon, make some videos, plan for VBS, make 7 devos, run some errands, and so much more. but i didn’t have to worry about that today. it was good.

i got to fellowship with the darsch’s today. momma d made an awesome meal and we talked about REVO and the Lord all night. it was so good. i know a 19 year old should be happy to get away from his mother for a while, but, truth be told, i miss mine. i didn’t see her much all year until right before i left for the summer so it was pretty depressing to have to leave. momma d and big jim made me feel really welcome and opened their house and their hearts to me. it’s great to have people like that looking out for you and knowing that sometimes you just need to escape life.

i wrote a song today. and yesterday. the first ones since i came out here. i’m excited to have written them (even though they weren’t stellar). i didn’t think i’d get too much writing done out here, but i’m glad it’s starying up. daniel and i might do some recording soon. and he has a friend with MAD SKILLZZ. so that’s awesome. we’ll have a good time with that.

well, i’m off. work again tomorrow.
