non-stop.

so when you buy a ticket to anywhere on a train on a plane or something like that, you can buy a non-stop ticket. they’re wonderful because they get you where you want to go really fast and very directly. the only thing is, they cost a little more than normal flights. in some cases much more.

in my case: MUCH MUCH more.

i was just starting to get get used to this whole “slave” thing when SpyGame crawled right out and lit me up. 16 hour days didn’t phase me, nor did free lunch and lots of cleaning. but that event just distroyed me. we worked ALL day to get ready for go time and when it finally came, we STILL weren’t ready. i was wiggin out. luckily, everything got done and we started the game without too many hitches. once the game started, it was another story. a girl that i asked to help didn’t show, so i had to cover her post. simple, right? the only problem was that i had 8 teams of text-happy teens ready and willing to ask me questions. needless to say, it was madness. but i’m still alive so it musn’t be that bad. sorry i didn’t post last night. i was pretty much gone.

today was also fast paced. i got in, made a movie with dan, helped rose move to blackwood, then came back to the church to clean up. once again, simple, right? oooooor not. i was late to help rose and from there i went directly to the church and worked till midnight cleaning and trying to think of songs. luckily, jen called me (just as she was falling asleep) and helped with the song selection. i’ve been gone 2 years, so i really needed some help. sam called too. that helped. but i think i really hurt my back moving those old pieces of stage. they are much heavier than they appear. i’m actually quite surprised i got everything moved. and the office is puuurrrty too. that’s good. meeting at 8 in the AM.

so yeah. basically two crazy non-stop days. and they cost a lot. so now i’m going to sleep.
